Gran and Gray enjoyed watching our big boy play coach pitch the last couple of games.

Flynn Family Fun!

We had a great time this past weekend visiting with Stephen's family. His brother, Mark and his family live in Charleston, so we don't get to see them very often. I also included some pictures taken earlier this summer in Aberdeen.
Nothing like playing with the water hose in your panties!
My future Jedi-he really thinks he has "the force"

The boys: Fletcher, Gray, Hunter, Chase and Charlie-there is never a dull moment!Gray loves Aunt Penny...and Mamaw, even though he's not too happy in this picture!Fletcher Flynn loves the camera...can you tell he is an only child??Aunt Judy is such a faithful blog follower! After a day of fun there is nothing like a peaceful ride home!! (yes, I know my three and a half year old still has a pacy...please don't judge...if I take it away, she sucks her thumb-gross!)

11 months old!!

Gray was 11 months old last week. He is still the best baby! He takes two naps a day and sleeps 12 hours at night:) I can't believe his first year is almost over. It makes me sad! For my memories sake, I'm going to list a few fun facts about my Graybaby:

  • New words this month...hey, ma-eeee(molly), bite, ride (golf cart), da-eee(daddy), nigh-nigh, ba-ba(bottle), ca-cah(cracker)
  • His favorite thing is riding the golf cart to go see dogs and ducks in our neighborhood(he barks for every animal).
  • He is walking behind a push toy, but doesn't seem too close to walking by himself.
  • He has absolutely no teeth!
  • He's down to one bottle first thing in the am...I can't seem to get rid of it, when I'm changing his diaper, he takes his pacy out and says, "ba-ba!" He loves it!
  • He smiles 90% of the time-very happy baby.

July 4th Weekend

We enjoyed a relaxing and fun weekend celebrating America's birthday. On Friday night, we ate and enjoyed fireworks with friends at TCC. On Saturday, we had a lazy day that ended with swimming and cooking out with the Leeper fam! Charlie and Stephen ended the night with more fireworks. M's not too crazy about them...notice she is covering her ears!

G loved the light sticks!

C had fun horsing around with Uncle Jimmy
I love this picture of G and Pop. They're checking each other out!

Playing with Drew

Ending the night with neighborhood fireworks!

Swimming lessons and pea shelling...it must be summer!!

Molly had her first swimming lessons this week. She loved Ms. Gina and got promoted to a higher class after her first day. Basically all that meant was that she didn't kick, cry or scream when she was dropped off. She has never really been scared of the water, so she was a fast learner. By the end of the week, she was jumping off the diving board and swimming to the ladder...yeah M! We are so proud of you!! Molly and Ms. Gina
Learning to dive for rings Here...I...
Come!!!

Earlier this week, M was at my sister's house when she called and said, "I think this might be blog-worthy...you should see Molly shelling peas!" I was surprised to see the number of peas she had gotten in the bowl instead of on the floor. She kept checking out Aunt Sandy's thumbs and wondering why hers weren't purple. A few minutes later, we caught her rubbing the pea pods so she would have purple thumbs...afterall, it is one of her favorite colors:)
