Snaggle Tooth

Friday night in the middle of chowing down on burger buddies, Charlie FINALLY lost his top tooth. It's been hanging by a thread and driving me crazy for at least a week. He wouldn't let me or anyone else touch it. He was very excited, but wanted it to stop bleeding quickly so he could get back to his burger!

Introducing...Miss Molly Ann Mobley

This week is Mississippi history week at Molly's preschool. Her teacher sent home a list of famous Mississippians to choose to be. I was thrilled that Mary Ann Mobley was on the list. For those of you who don't know, she was Mississippi's first Miss America. Molly has no idea who she is or who Miss America is for that matter, but she was so excited to get to dress up and wear "real" make-up. She didn't even fuss when I fixed her hair in an up-do! We had a great time. Thanks Ms. Brea for such a fun idea! There she is...Miss America...complete with white gloves and roses!

Notice the "real" make-up. She applied the lipstick herself, can you tell?
There were several Eli Mannings in a room full of boys!

Charlie wasn't sure what all the fuss was about. He kept asking, "Is Molly going to have to wear that dress ALL day?"

Six Months Old!

I can't believe Gray turned six months old on Thursday. Where did time go? I feel like he just got here. He is such a sweet baby. He pretty much wakes up happy and goes to bed happy. Being number three, he has learned to go with the flow! I'm so thankful for an easy baby!

Third Time's A Charm

This past week we pulled the high chair down out of the attic for the last time. I have a feeling I will be saying that a lot, since I know that I know Gray is my third and LAST baby. Since it is the third time we have used this trusty high chair, the water hose and lots of spray bleach were required to de-grime it (is that a word?). Anyway, Gray is loving it because he is a very good eater, and is thrilled with the idea of being able to sit up. He has been entertained by his new seating arrangement this week. I'm sure sitting still won't last long, he is already turning into a little wiggle worm!

Oh...by the way... my big boy is sitting up and got a big boy haircut on Saturday. I don't have a picture because #1. I forgot my camera, and #2. We were the only ones there besides my hairdresser-no one to take the picture. You can't get the full affect of the amount of hair she cut from these pictures. He filled up the little square where the first locks of hair go. She didn't even put all of it in there!

Here's a closer look of the big boy haircut with my big girl helper. I caught her playing in his bed this week. Gray didn't seem to mind...he loves her entertainment most of the time.

My Star Reader

Last week Charlie's kindergarten class started their reading program. They have to complete their "readers" in order of difficulty. I have to brag on my boy...the first five were a breeze for him...he completed five in five days. Here is his first reward. He gets a trophy when he completes fifteen. He's in quite a hurry to get there! Thank you Ms. Nicole for keeping him so excited about learning. You can learn more about her class here.
