Sweet baby Gray is 18 months old today. He is truly a joy, but I do have to admit...his "baby" things have been a little neglected. I swore I wouldn't do that to my third child because I was a third child, but inevitably it happens. His baby book has barely made it past the first month home, I have yet to write down his first words or when he got his first tooth! Now I can't remember. I want to tell a few things about this little guy that I just love about him. Hopefully in a year or two I will have it documented somewhere...so maybe I can finish his baby book!!!
This picture was taken just a few minutes after I had finished getting him dressed for bed...I should have known better than to leave the door open to the bathtub. He loves his bath, especially if Molly is in there with him. He also loves... his pacy, his night night( blue blankie), putting on hats, balls of any kind of ball, going outside and riding the golf cart or Barbie jeep, yogurt, suckers, ME (a little more than Dad right now, but I'm sure that will change), getting things out of any drawer or cabinet and stacking them up, snuggling on the big bed and watching Elmo.

He is saying lots of words...and since I did this with my other two...I'm going to write down what they are...this will only be fun for me to read twenty years from now so I understand if it's boring to you...here it goes: da-da, mama, ball, dog, duck, sucker, ma-eee(Molly) cha-eee(Charlie), side(outside), ride, quack-quack, moo, barks like a dog, meow, cracker, yogurt, spoon, cup, pappy, night-night, bye-bye, mamaw, papaw, sanny (Sandy), mi-mi (Emily Ann), Gran, Pop, Drew, Melmo (Elmo), bed, shoe, sock, hat, paper, wipe, poo poo, diaper, no-no, spank, eyes, ears, nose, teeth, mouth, hair...
I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but he's really getting the hang of putting the few words he knows together like when he runs in the kitchen crying and says, "no-no...ma-eee...night-night...spank!" That means Molly took his night-night and needs a spanking. He's already a very good tattle-tell...and rightly so...he has to so he will survive in our crazy home:) So, Gray, if you are reading this twenty years from now, please know you are truly loved and you make us laugh everyday. We can't wait to see what God has planned for our sweet #3.
