Daddy's Home!!!!

Stephen left on Thursday for his annual golfing trip with his buddies. I took some pictures to show him what we were up to while he was gone...not much! Gray is learning new things everyday. You can miss a lot when you are away from him for very long. He is growing out of all his clothes and is trying very hard to crawl! It won't be long until he's into everything! When he woke up from his naps this weekend, he decided he would just sit on up! It was a little surprising...Here he is learning how to pick up and eat banana puffs...quite comical!He didn't enjoy the banana puffs nearly as much as the spaghetti dinner!Molly wanted to blow Daddy a kiss before she left to spend the night in Aberdeen. She and Mamaw had a girls night!My boys before church. I had extra time just having to get two ready!

Charlie and I enjoyed vegging on the couch and watching Mary Poppins.Nothing is as sweet as watching their reactions when they see their daddy after a few days away...priceless! We are so glad he's back!

Charlie's Bowling Party

Charlie had his birthday party this year at Rebelanes bowling alley. He had a lot of fun trying to get a strike. Molly was my helper getting everything together that day. She's definitely a little mama!

Fun at Fairpark

A few weeks ago, during Spring Break, some friends and I took our kids to play at fairpark. I've been neglecting my blog, so now I'm playing catch up. Here are a few pictures from our day.

Cooper and Charlie played so hard, they needed a rest break!

Happy Birthday Charlie!

Six years ago today, Charles Anderson Flynn arrived--and our lives have never been the same! He was so excited when he woke up this morning to find a cowboy hat and "hunter gun" like Travis's on Old Yeller. Of course the "hunter gun" sounds and looks real, but harmless. He also got a new BB gun that will also hopefully be harmless with adult supervision!

We had a fun day today. He had a pizza and cupcake party at school today. His friend and neighbor Taylor has the same birthday, so the whole class was ready to celebrate! Taylor's parents and I also got married on the same day, same time...quite a coincidence

Molly thought she was mighty big in the kindergarten classroom! Thanks for helping Ms. Alicia and Ms. Nicole!

Daddy wouldn't have missed this party for the world. Daddy doesn't miss anything!

So if you see someone running around our neighborhood throwing rocks at dogs and telling them to get out of our drinking water, or shooting at wolves and wild hogs...don't be alarmed...it's just a sweet little boy with a wild imagination!

It Snowed!!!!

I could hardly believe my eyes this morning when I looked outside to see snow covering the ground. We had heard the predictions, but I had to see it to believe it. We have gotten our hopes up way too many times. The kids were so excited. . We were dressed and outside by 8:15! It's a good thing we went out early because most of it was gone by lunch. I tried to get Gray dressed up for a cute picture, but his eyes were too heavy. He slept the entire time we played. He may be in middle school before it happens again. Until last year, it had been seven years since we had had anything more than a dusting. After coming in to my warm house, I was thankful for living in the South. I don't think I could handle that kind of wind and cold every day. We enjoyed a mug of hot chocolate and played the rest of the day INSIDE!

Molly tried the snow and told me later it tasted like sour cream. Not sure where that came from!

Charlie didn't mind the cold too much. He kept lying down in the snow to make snow angels.Turns out, he's not much of an angel. Molly never saw it coming! Guess I should have warned her instead of taking pictures!Molly especially enjoyed her hot chocolate!My niece Erin Ruth joined us in the snowball fighting and hot chocolate drinking. What a fun day!
