I could hardly believe my eyes this morning when I looked outside to see snow covering the ground. We had heard the predictions, but I had to see it to believe it. We have gotten our hopes up way too many times. The kids were so excited. . We were dressed and outside by 8:15! It's a good thing we went out early because most of it was gone by lunch. I tried to get Gray dressed up for a cute picture, but his eyes were too heavy. He slept the entire time we played. He may be in middle school before it happens again. Until last year, it had been seven years since we had had anything more than a dusting. After coming in to my warm house, I was thankful for living in the South. I don't think I could handle that kind of wind and cold every day. We enjoyed a mug of hot chocolate and played the rest of the day INSIDE!

Turns out, he's not much of an angel. Molly never saw it coming! Guess I should have warned her instead of taking pictures!
Molly especially enjoyed her hot chocolate!
My niece Erin Ruth joined us in the snowball fighting and hot chocolate drinking. What a fun day!
