Resurrection Rolls

The angel said to the women," Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as he said." Matthew 28:5-6

This morning Charlie wasn't feeling well, so we decided to skip another Easter egg hunt and have a lazy day. We made resurrection rolls for breakfast. Charlie's kindergarten teacher gave me the idea on her blog. It's a very simple way to show them the true meaning of Easter. Jesus is represented by the marshmallow. It is dipped in butter and rolled in cinnamon and sugar to represent preparing his body for burial. The last step is sealing up the tomb in crescent rolls. When the rolls are ready, they are pulled apart to reveal a hollow center. The marshmallow has melted and "Jesus" is not there.

Charlie managed to gobble them up despite the fact that he is now a double snag!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today was Molly's Easter egg hunt at her school. She was very excited because she had seen all of the candy Charlie had brought home from his the day before. She could live on candy! Here she is waiting patiently for Ms. Brea to hide the eggs. She was so busy shaking each one, she got left in the dust by the boys trying to find as many as possible!Molly and Maddox-buddies!Ms. Kelly watched Gray for me so I could take pictures. He was taking it all in!

Daddy's Home!!!!

Stephen left on Thursday for his annual golfing trip with his buddies. I took some pictures to show him what we were up to while he was gone...not much! Gray is learning new things everyday. You can miss a lot when you are away from him for very long. He is growing out of all his clothes and is trying very hard to crawl! It won't be long until he's into everything! When he woke up from his naps this weekend, he decided he would just sit on up! It was a little surprising...Here he is learning how to pick up and eat banana puffs...quite comical! He didn't enjoy the banana puffs nearly as much as the spaghetti dinner!Molly wanted to blow Daddy a kiss before she left to spend the night in Aberdeen. She and Mamaw had a girls night! My boys before church. I had extra time just having to get two ready!

Charlie and I enjoyed vegging on the couch and watching Mary Poppins.Nothing is as sweet as watching their reactions when they see their daddy after a few days away...priceless! We are so glad he's back!

Charlie's Bowling Party

Charlie had his birthday party this year at Rebelanes bowling alley. He had a lot of fun trying to get a strike. Molly was my helper getting everything together that day. She's definitely a little mama!

Gray had fun hanging out with Mamaw!
Daddy was a big help with the bowling scores!

Charlie and Chase had more fun playing games than bowling!

Cousin Pic-believe or not, this is the best one!

Fun at Fairpark

A few weeks ago, during Spring Break, some friends and I took our kids to play at fairpark. I've been neglecting my blog, so now I'm playing catch up. Here are a few pictures from our day.

Cooper and Charlie played so hard, they needed a rest break!
Molly has a new neighbor and friend named Lindsey.
They enjoyed swinging and playing on the see-saw.
Push me Mama!
Graybaby enjoyed sitting on the picnic blanket and trying to eat the grass!

We can't wait to go again, but it will have to be warm enough to splash in the fountain!
