Sweetness

This post is way overdue, but it's too sweet not to tell it... On Valentine's day Stephen wanted to give Molly a gift just from him. They have a very special relationship since she is our only girl. He started calling her "sweetness" when she was around two, and now she won't let him call her anything else. Anyway, he surprised her with a new shirt with her "name" monogrammed on it...she loved it! She couldn't understand why she couldn't wear it everyday:)

...on another sweet note...in the car on the way to soccer a few weeks ago, Molly saw a taxi cab. She asked me what it was, and I explained to her exactly how using a taxi worked (probably in too much detail-Stephen always tells me to please get to the point)...anyway...I digress...

She thought for a minute, then sighed and said, "MAMA, YOU KNOW EVERYTHING!!!"

I plan on showing her this in writing when she's about 13! I still wish she could stay four forever...I love this age!!!

Soccer 2010

Charlie enjoyed another season of cold, wet soccer. He hardly played any matches because of the weather but loved every minute he did get to play. Here are a few pictures I managed to snap in between taking M to the concession stand or bathroom and chasing G all over the field!

I spent most of my time chasing this little guy instead of watching soccer!

Molly and her buddy Mary Dillard...she was so glad to have some company at the soccer field!

Happy Easter 2010!!

Our Easter weekend began by spending all day Saturday in Aberdeen. Mark, Amy and Fletcher were home from Charleston. All of the kiddos enjoyed the riding toys, hunting eggs and just being together outside. It was a beautiful day!

Easter Morning 2010

We spent Easter afternoon at Suzan's house. The kids loving going to "the woods" to play outside at her house. She still has a big sand pile that is left from a recent home renovation and that was the biggest hit of the day for Gray and Molly. Charlie enjoyed playing Drew's Wii and going for a hike through the woods to Mr. and Mrs. Roye's house. I know my kids are getting big when they've been gone an hour before I realize they're missing! Here are a few of my favorite pictures...

Oh yeah! I'm big enough for a backpack!

A few weeks ago, my little one graduated from being babysat by a sweet little old lady to going to a big boy class at HBC. I was a little sad about him being in there with bigger kids, but he was definitely ready. He already thinks he is as old as C and M. He loves his new backpack and wants to walk around with it all the time. So big!!
What a cutie!!!
