Happy Easter 2010!!

Our Easter weekend began by spending all day Saturday in Aberdeen. Mark, Amy and Fletcher were home from Charleston. All of the kiddos enjoyed the riding toys, hunting eggs and just being together outside. It was a beautiful day!

Easter Morning 2010

We spent Easter afternoon at Suzan's house. The kids loving going to "the woods" to play outside at her house. She still has a big sand pile that is left from a recent home renovation and that was the biggest hit of the day for Gray and Molly. Charlie enjoyed playing Drew's Wii and going for a hike through the woods to Mr. and Mrs. Roye's house. I know my kids are getting big when they've been gone an hour before I realize they're missing! Here are a few of my favorite pictures...

Oh yeah! I'm big enough for a backpack!

A few weeks ago, my little one graduated from being babysat by a sweet little old lady to going to a big boy class at HBC. I was a little sad about him being in there with bigger kids, but he was definitely ready. He already thinks he is as old as C and M. He loves his new backpack and wants to walk around with it all the time. So big!!
What a cutie!!!

Special spend-the-night company

Molly had her first spend-the-night company a few weeks ago...Elise! She and Molly are best buddies and also first cousins born three weeks apart. She has spent lots of time at our house, but has never spent the night. They both acted like big girls and had a great time! They enjoyed a night of riding the Barbie jeep, playing dress-up and watching Dora. I'm sure it's just the first of many more sleep-overs to come...

Happy Birthday Charlie!!!

I can't believe my Charlie is seven today! Where has time gone?? He is such a grown up young man now that I hardly recognize him sometimes. Instead of being the chubby little toddler running around, he is a handsome boy who loves to read, play the Wii, and REALLY wanted an Ipod touch for his birthday. We ask him if he would rather have a big party or an Itouch and you see which one won. He spent his own money from his grandparents, aunts and uncles to get what he wanted....now Mama has to learn how to download games onto it:)
This morning I asked you if you would rather have pancakes or biscuits and you said, "biscuits and honey!" Your ginormous biscuit almost melted the candles before you could get up to blow them out!
I tried to get a quick sibling picture before he left for school, but Gray wanted no part of that!

Molly and I took pizza and Star Wars cupcakes to his class for lunch...it was a big hit!

Everyone say, "May the force be with you!"

What's the matter Charlie, is your mama hugging on you embarrassing you?

Wish you could stay this sweet forever...seems like yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital!
We are looking forward to many, many more birthdays with this sweet boy!
